STUDIO

Intus Studio is an architecture studio based in Portugal, dedicated to design and construction.
Our approach is committed to designing unique and functional spaces through custom-made solutions that respond thoughtfully to the architectural vision of each project — in terms of scale of intervention, specific needs, and sustainability — to ensure a meaningful connection to its context, history, and future.
We are deeply interested in exploring the boundaries and limits that define spaces, and how these thresholds shape the way we experience and interact with the world around us — not only through physical form, but also through the creation of atmosphere. Intus derives from the Latin for "within," reflecting our core belief that architecture is as much about what is felt as what is built: the experiences, connections, and spatial tensions that emerge from within — between interior and exterior, human and environment.

Catarina Pouseiro Bernardino (Caldas da Rainha, 1994)

Master degree in Architecture from the Department of Architecture of Coimbra University (DARQ-UC), completed academic internships at Atelier do Corvo (Coimbra, 2017) and Bartolomeu Costa Cabral studio (Lisbon, 2019).

Member of the Portuguese Architects Association, starts her professional practice by developing projects in collaboration with Ana Costa Arquitectura e Design studio (Lisbon, 2020-22), Parto Atelier (Lisbon, 2022-23) and Paula Santos Arquitectura (Porto, 2023-25), participating essentially in building rehabilitation and refurbishment projects, within the scope of public and private works.

Since 2025, she has been working as a freelance architect.
